Our collective has grown because we invest in the people who have built it. Our future investment could be you, whether you are just starting out or need a breath of fresh air from this industry. Our 9 week intensive course is the center of this collective. It ensures we all speak the same color language, yet use separate brands. We educate from the basics to creation, and the science behind it all.
OUR APPROACH
We are constantly growing new talent at our salon collective. These new hires will go through our internal program " The Refinery" that coincides with the 2026 education calendar at CommonHaus Edu . This 9 week intensive takes you beyond the basics and earns you a spot at one of Metro Detroits Top Salons.
OUR VIEWPOINT
During your time in our training program you will have full access to shadow at any of the salons in our collective. The goal is to see what feels right. Each space has its own personality and each team their own vibe the best way to feel it is to immerse yourself. .
OUR COMMITMENT
This isn't like any education you have had before this program was built with intention and follow through to keep you accountable. This program goes beyond basics by establishing core skills in traditional work and exploring both the science and artists of specialty work.

Shadow Day
Our program is designed to bring together a talented team of professionals who are passionate about showcasing creativity and style.

At this stage you will visit your choice of salon for a in person meet with our Master Stylists. You will be given a tour and a peek into the systems that set us apart. Join us in delivering exceptional results that captivate and inspire.
Formal
Interview
Join us for a formal interview where we will discuss compensation rates in detail.
This is a great chance to explore how we can work together achieve success. We believe that there is a salon culture for everyone and this is an interview for us just as much as it is for you. We look forward to your insights and contributions.
